Outright Distribution has struck a new representation agreement with leading non-fiction TV production company Authentic Entertainment, Inc, based on the West Coast of the US.
The new tie-up will give Outright Rest of the World distribution (outside the US) for a 5-year period of the 10 x 60’ HD series Mysterious Journeys, originally produced for The Travel Channel. “Mysterious Journeys” was executive produced by Authentic’s co-founders, Lauren Lexton and Tom Rogan.
Each episode uncovers a different legend, investigating it with both hard science and good old-fashioned exploration. From the Salem witch trials to UFO sightings and alien hotspots around the globe to the truth behind the legend of Dracula, it’s a fast-paced and educational adventure through some of the most bizarre and fascinating legends of the world.
Best known for producing some of US cable television’s most popular reality series, including “Ace of Cakes” (Food Network), “Flipping Out” (Bravo), ”Cities of the Underworld” (History Channel), “My First Home” (TLC), and “Lock ‘N Load” (Showtime), Authentic Entertainment currently has eight series on air with six different networks, and is in production on new series and specials for Discovery, Food Network, Nat Geo Channel and Oxygen.
